A family business
About us
Background, experience and values
A&E Builders was established in 1980 by two brothers; Allan and Ed. Allan was a painter decorator and Ed a plumber. With ambitions to take on larger projects, they formed A&E Builders and started employing the services of subcontractors to assist them with extensions. As more and more larger jobs came in, subcontractors became employees. A&E diversified into working with councils and social housing providers for repairs and maintenance whilst maintaining the core business with private residents for extensions and building services.
The company is now operating with the help of Allan and Ed's sons; Steve and Sam. As building technologies and methods of working have developed over the years so have A&E Builders. With the help of the next generation the company will strive to continue to grow and operate at the peak of workmanship standards and professionalism.
